| Nestled in the beautiful mountains of Virginia, you will find the home of JC, Amanda, & Colt Childress and their Blue Ridge Mountain Bucking Bulls. JC started out riding bulls and soon developed an interest for raising and breeding bucking bulls. He began forming his breeding program and learning the ins and outs of the bull business. He made new acquaintances that would soon become valuable friends. Derrell Hargis and David Bailey have proven to be JC's greatest inspirations & mentors. The Childress's program focuses mainly on the Hargis and Bailey bloodlines. In 2003, JC played a vital role in producing the first ever East Coat Futurity. He has hauled bulls to PBR BFTS events, as well as judged PBBA, PBR, & ABBI sanctioned events across the east coast. While maintaining their own business, JC & Amanda manage Cecil Arthur Bucking Bulls. They oversee this breeding program, as well as, train and haul all of Cecil's bulls.
